Beating Garry or Karpov?

Assume that you are quite an ordinary chess player having no strength to rub shoulder with all time great, the numero ono of chess Garry Kasparov and the other mighty Himalayan called Karpov. However you are supposed to play with these 2 guys, (one game with each) that too simultaneously, having black against Garry and white against Karpov. Win counts 1 point, loss counts 0 points and draw 1/2. How do you manage to score 1 out of 2 despite your setbacks?


Answer:

Just copy Garry's white move into the second game as your own white move against Karpov and duplicate the Karpov's black move into the first game as your own black move aginst Garry.
It becomes indirectly a game between Garry and Karpov and you become a mediator. If Garry wins the first game, you win the second game with Karpov. Or, if Karpov wins the second game with you, you win the first game with Garry. Or at the worst, two draws may happen. Whatever may be case, you are sure to score 1 point out of 2, come what may!
